Jenni Fagan is a critically acclaimed, award winning novelist and poet in global translation. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and also a longstanding member of Liberty. Fagan’s memoir Ootlin won the Gordon Burn Prize 2025, it was also long listed for the Women’s Prize. She has won Scottish Author of the Year, Granta Best of Young British Novelist and been on lists for The Sunday Times Short Story Award, Impact Dublin, Desmond Elliott, Encore, BBC International Story Prize, among others.

Author of seven fiction novels, eight poetry collections and currently Directing an adaptation of her own work. The Delusions is a story of unprecedented human connection, described by Irvine Welsh as ‘1984 for the afterlife.’ In 2024 she wrote 200 poems for The Macallan in celebration of their 200th year, this was bound into an exclusive book and Fagan narrated the accompanying films by Pixar.
