Angus Roxburgh is a writer and broadcaster. He studied at the Universities of Aberdeen and Zurich. He was the BBC’s Moscow correspondent, and covered the Yeltsin years, then he became the BBC’s Europe Correspondent, based in Brussels. He served as a media adviser to the Russian government from 2006 to 2009, gaining fresh insight into the Putin Regime. His most recent book is ‘The Strongman: Vladimir Putin and the Struggle for Russia’. He also has an album out, called ‘Harmonies For One’.
