Iqbal Wahhab is a Bangladesh-born British businessman who founded Tandoori Magazine and multi-award winning restaurants The Cinnamon Club and Roast. After graduating from the London School of Economics, he worked as a journalist before starting his own PR firm and launching his magazine and restaurants. In 2006, he became chair of the Department for Work and Pensions’ ethnic minority advisory group, set up to discuss the reduction of ethnic minority unemployment. He was awarded an OBE in 2009 and in 2010 was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
