Valerie Plame Wilson is a former operations officer of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the wife of former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson. As the subject of the 2003 Plame affair, also known as the CIA leak scandal, she had her identity as covert officer of the CIA leaked to the press by members of the George W. Bush administration and subsequently made public. She has written a memoir detailing her career and the events leading up to her resignation from the CIA entitled Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House.
