Ruth Wishart is a freelance columnist and broadcaster who has presented programme series for BBC Scotland and Radio 4.
Previously senior assistant editor of The Scotsman, she now contributes to a number of papers including The Guardian and The National.
A former trustee of the National Galleries of Scotland, and board member of Creative Scotland she also served as chair of the CCA, and Glasgow Common Purpose, and as a Governor of Glasgow School of Art. Currently she chairs the Dewar Arts Awards, and runs an annual book festival in Argyll.
