We are always looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help at the Beyond Borders International Festival! This year’s event is taking place on August 24^th and 25^th at Traquair House in the Scottish Borders and features a weekend of panel discussions and debates, music and theatrical performance, visual arts exhibitions, and film with authors, politicians, diplomats, and performers from all over the world.

Festival Volunteers are involved with all aspects of the event, including:

• Box Office and Front of House
• General assistance with event set-up and strike
• Support of events management in our Festival marquees and performance and exhibition spaces
• Support in our Festival Green Room

Our volunteers often come back again and again, and some have gone on to carry out internships with us in later years. Please note that these are voluntary positions, but accommodation, local transport, and food are all provided. We ask that our volunteers be available from Thursday 22^nd – Monday 26^th August to assist with set-up and strike.
