Clare Dubois is a social entrepreneur and founder of TreeSisters. Treesisters is an organisation working for reforestation with a focus on empowering women and their role in tropical reforestation, all from a grassroots perspective. TreeSisters has volunteers all over the world and has programmes in various countries, which all work towards promoting female leadership in global reforestation. Before founding TreeSisters, Ms Dubois was UK-coordinator for an initiative called ‘Project Green Hands’ in South India, where she ensured social mobilisation and local involvement in helping restoring land.
