Jane Kinninmont is a Senior Research Fellow on the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Chatham House. Her expertise lie in reform and opposition movements in the Arab world, identity politics and the GCC countries. She has written numerous publications, including her most recent works, The Arab Spring: The Changing Dynamics of West-GCC Cooperation and Iraq Can’t Avoid Contagion.
