Jorie Graham, is an American poet who has been described by the U.S. Poetry Foundation as “perhaps the most celebrated poet of the American post-war generation.” Ms. Graham became the first woman to be appointed the position of Boylston Position at Harvard, replacing Seamus Heaney. She won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1996 for The Dream of the Unified Field: Selected Poems 1974-1994 and was chancellor of the Academy of American Poets from 1997 to 2003. Graham has edited several anthologies and written numerous collections of her own poems, including her most recent work, To 2040, which was published in 2023.
